VANISH is an indie developed horror game where you find yourself in a dark labyrinth and must escape.
The game is portable, so no need for pesky installations. VANISH has a very polished appearance and intuitive keyboard controls. We immediately found CTRL worked to crouch, shift to run, and arrow keys to move. There is a list of keyboard commands in the readme if you need it.
Be prepared to be scared. Headphones are recommended if you have them. What happens is generated dynamically so every time you play, you won\\\'t find the same things in the same places. There are some great sounds here, and a few things made us jump including sounds, steam shooting out of pipes randomly, and a zombie behind a gate. You will find notes scribbled on the walls that might help you escape with tips and some that are of no help at all.
That zombie found his way around and to us, snapping our neck in a truly cool, and obvious, animation. Wow.
If you think you\\\'re going to play VANISH once and stroll out the door, think again.
Sadly, VANISH was last updated as a release candidate (post beta, pre-release) and development appears to have stopped. That\\\'s a shame because it\\\'s one of the better indie games we\\\'ve played.
